as a choreographer, i create work that explores the sensorial, emotional, and sonic potential of the body.
since 2012, i’ve been developing performances that seek to affect rather than impress — to move people physically without having to participate. whether working in groups or solo, i engage the body as archive, storyteller, and boombox, weaving together sensation and structure, fiction and abstraction.

throughout the years, my work has been supported by institutions such as Dansateliers in Rotterdam, K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg, CCN Caen Normandie, CSC Bassano del Grappa (2012-2019) as well as by Dutch funding bodies - Gemeente Rotterdam, Fonds Podiumkunsten and Prins Bernhard Fonds (2015-2019).

i was awarded the Nederlandse Dansdagen Prize for emerging choreographers in 2015.
